Buffalo Iron Works sits in the Cobblestone District a short walk from KeyBank Center, and it's become one of the go-to mid-sized music venues in the city for good reason. The building itself โ€” a restored early 20th-century factory with exposed brick and heavy wooden beams โ€” sounds as good as it looks. The booking is eclectic: touring national acts, tribute bands that pack the floor, and showcases for the best local talent WNY has to offer. There's a full kitchen turning out solid pub food and a long bar with a strong lineup of local craft beers. It works equally well as a pre-game spot before a Sabres game or a full destination on its own. The standing floor gets lively when the room fills up, but there's enough space to hang back and just enjoy the music if that's your speed.
