Fry Baby Donuts

Fry Baby Donuts is back, and if you haven't tried them yet, the return is as good a time as any to start. Founded by Ann Hogan, the shop specializes in completely plant-based doughnuts that genuinely hold their own against anything in the city — vegan or otherwise.

The menu rotates through creative flavors, ranging from simple, perfect glazes to over-the-top filled and frosted creations. The relaunched shop comes with better hours and more consistent availability, which was the one real frustration from the original run.

Expect a line, especially on weekends. The loyal following never went anywhere, and they are very glad to have this place back.
