Concerned about Safety on Hopkins Road

I was shocked to hear about the fatal crash on Hopkins Road in Amherst, it's just so sad. I drive on that road all the time to get to my job at the hospital and I've seen some close calls. I think the town needs to do something about the traffic lights and speed limits, it's just not safe.

I've lived in Amherst my whole life and I've seen it change so much, but safety should always be the top priority. I'm planning to attend the town hall meeting at the Amherst Middle School to voice my concerns, I hope others will join me.

Has anyone else had any close calls on Hopkins Road? I feel like it's just a matter of time before another accident happens.
