Support for the Alam Family

I was touched by the story of Nurul Alam's family and their request for support from the community. As a parent of a student at Buffalo Public Schools, it breaks my heart to see a family going through this.

I'm planning to donate to the family's fund and I encourage others to do the same. I've also been thinking about organizing a fundraiser at my kid's school, perhaps a bake sale or a charity basketball game.

Does anyone know if there are any local businesses or organizations that are offering support to the family? I'd love to get involved and help out in any way I can, maybe we can even get the Sabres to donate some autographed gear for a raffle.
