Buffalo Public Schools Seeking Feedback on 2026-2027 Code of Conduct
Buffalo Public Schools is asking parents and community members to share their thoughts on the 2026 to 2027 Code of Conduct before it is finalized by the Board of Education.
Buffalo Public Schools is asking parents, students, and community members to share their input on updates to the 2026 to 2027 Code of Conduct. Under New York State School Law, the district is required to hold public hearings each year before making any changes to its standards for conduct, character, and support.
While virtual review sessions were held over the weekend, the district is continuing to encourage residents to review the current Code of Conduct online. They have also provided links where people can submit feedback on discipline policies, student expectations, and school safety.
The goal is to make sure the updated code reflects the voices and concerns of Buffalo neighborhoods across the city, from the West Side to South Buffalo, before the Board of Education adopts it for the upcoming school year.
