JECA Energy Bars, a fast-growing food startup based in Cheektowaga, announced plans to expand its manufacturing operations after experiencing rapid growth over the past year.
The company has secured placement in more than 200 retail locations, including major grocery chains, significantly increasing demand for its products.
Founder Ree Dolnick said the expansion will focus on increasing production capacity and hiring additional staff to meet rising demand.
Local economic development groups have supported the company, highlighting it as an example of Buffalo’s growing food manufacturing sector.
