The Lancaster Legends girls varsity lacrosse team picked up an early-season win over Salamanca this week, and it was the kind of performance that gives a coaching staff something to build on. Lancaster kept the ball moving, won ground ball battles, and didn't give Salamanca many opportunities to get comfortable.
It's a good sign for a program that figures to be competitive in divisional play as the spring schedule heats up. For Salamanca, there's plenty of season left to find their footing.
