UB Men's Tennis Grinds Out a 4-3 Road Win Over Ball State

The University at Buffalo men's tennis team went on the road this weekend and earned it the hard way β€” a 4-3 win over Ball State that improved their MAC record to 5-2 and their overall mark to 11-6.

The Bulls came out of the gates well, taking the doubles point by winning the top two courts and putting themselves in front before singles even started. It didn't stay comfortable from there. Ball State pushed back hard, and Buffalo needed strong individual performances from Onder Balci and Minjae Kim to stay in contention through the middle of the lineup.

When it came down to the wire, the Bulls swept the last two courts and walked away with the match. That's the kind of result that matters as the conference schedule tightens up heading into spring.
